BBC Children in Need POP Goes the Musical 2011 will see the musicians work with theatre stars before they perform for audiences at some of the top shows.
As reported earlier today, Andre will join the cast of Ghost to perform 'Unchained Melody'. Sugababes will take on 'Dancing Queen' in Mamma Mia!, Stacey Solomon will perform 'For Good' in Wicked, while Melanie C will join We Will Rock You to perform the Queen title track.
"I'm so excited to be a part of the musical Wicked. I went to see the show and was completely blown away by the costumes and performances," X Factor star Solomon said. "It's going to be scary to get up on a West End stage but I'm so happy to take on the challenge and get involved in BBC Children in Need POP Goes the Musical."
Discussing their involvement, 'Freedom' group Sugababes said: "We're so excited to be part of BBC Children In Need this year. It's such a great cause and helps so many people and to be able to join the cast of Mamma Mia!, one of the West End's most famous musicals, is a real honour for us."
Describing herself as a "huge" fan of Queen, Spice Girl Mel C said: "Standing on the stage of the Dominion Theatre to sing one of the band's anthems is an absolute honour and a great way to raise money for such a fantastic charity."
Finally, Andre said that he "jumped at the chance" to join Ghost after being "so impressed" with the show: "[I] just hope that I can do it justice! The cast are great so it'll be so much fun working with them and raising money for an amazing cause all at the same time."
Tickets to see the shows which will feature each celebrity guest are available on the BBC Children In Need website, with prices starting from £25.
