Tara Palmer-Tomkinson has said her romance with Robbie Williams is still on.
The 'It' girl confirmed the rumours to presenter Terry Wogan but said she had intended to keep it secret. “I was a bit excited so I told somebody," she claimed. "Well, you would, wouldn’t you? I’m only human. I was like: ‘It’s Robbie Williams!’
“The next thing I see, it’s all over a magazine. I really learned from that mistake.”
Then – when Wogan pushed her for more details – she revealed that the affair is ongoing. “The problem is, if you talk about relationships that you’re having then the relationship goes out of the window.
“I can’t tell you because it would all be over. But Robbie’s great, that’s the main thing.”
The interview for UKTV Gold's Wogan Now And Then also saw Palmer-Tomkinson refute allegations that she is selfish. “I’m so generous," she maintained. "I’m so nice, and I really think it’s a myth that I’m high-maintenance."
Her appearance will be broadcast on the show on June 11.
