The Blade actor was convicted of three misdemeanour counts of knowingly failing to file income taxes in 2008. He began serving a three-year prison sentence in December 2010.
Snipes launched a campaign from jail to have his case argued in front of the US Supreme Court, but the high court dismissed his request in June.
Lawyers for the actor recently filed another motion to retry the case with Atlanta's 11th Circuit Court of Appeals, reports The AP.
The attorneys introduced two emails from former jurors who claimed that other jury members had acted inappropriately during Snipes's trial.
The appellate court refused to hear the case on Tuesday, claiming that Snipes's attorney lacked any "strong, substantial and incontrovertible evidence" that the actor had been wrongfully convicted.
Before being jailed last December, Snipes told Larry King that he didn't deserve to be imprisoned and suggested that he'd lost faith in the US justice system.
