Denise Richards denies Simon Cowell date claims

Denise Richards has denied reports that she once went on a blind date with Simon Cowell.

In a recent interview, the X Factor judge claimed that he was set up on a blind date with Charlie Sheen's ex-wife while she was pregnant.

However, Richards laughed off the claims earlier today on Twitter, saying that she and Cowell simply attended a group dinner together.

"I was at a group dinner 8mo pregnant not sure how thats considered a date (sic)," Richards tweeted. "news to me! if I was being set up I didn't know it!"

Richards recently revealed that she would marry Sheen again if given the opportunity to go back in time.

Last month, she turned down an opportunity to guest star on Sheen's former TV show Two and a Half Men.

The new season of Two and a Half Men premieres on September 19.
