Reese Witherspoon taken to hospital after being hit by car

The Walk the Line star was out jogging when she was struck by a car, E! News reports. She was taken to the hospital immediately after the accident to receive treatment for minor injuries.
A rep for the actress confirmed that she is "resting comfortably at home" in the wake of the incident.
Police have also revealed that the car was going at 20 miles per hour at the time of the accident.
Witherspoon recently said that she feels "lucky" and "blessed" to be married to Jim Toth, admitting that she was "desperate" to find a good stepfather for her two children with ex-husband Ryan Phillippe.
Last month, the actress reportedly became close friends with Kate Middleton after meeting at a charity event.
