Fashion designer Galliano was arrested and suspended from Dior after an altercation in a Paris bar earlier this year.
He was later fired before apologising for his behaviour during the incident, though he "completely" denied some of the claims.
Galliano faced charges of "casting public insults based on origin, religious affiliation, race or ethnicity". He was fined €4,000 (£3,506, $5,618) on one count and €2,000 (£1,753, $2,808) on the second charge. Both fines were suspended.
A lawyer for Galliano said following the verdict: "There will not be any fine to be paid and it is a fair and wise decision by the tribunal. Mr Galliano wants to apologise and he continues his treatment to be cured."
He had faced a maximum fine of €22,580 (£19,800, $31,713) and a six-month custodial jail sentence.
Galliano's racial abuse trial began in June.
