WWE star 'Rowdy' Roddy Piper to undergo surgery for broken neck

Piper took to Twitter to reveal that he broke his neck several months ago, but chose not to get checked by his doctors at the time.
The pain grew so severe as Piper continued to wrestle that he was eventually forced to seek medical treatment.
Piper admitted he was alarmed by the severity of the injury, tweeting: "When Doc saw the MRI's he went into the 911 attitude fast. So now at 10 am (on Monday). there cutting me open… I SAY, BRING IT ON!! CUT DEEP!! I'M NOT AFRAID ONE BIT!!! (sic)"
The wrestler also joked that the broken neck didn't affect his win-loss record in the wrestling ring.
He joked: "So just for the record, I beat, The Miz, Terry Funk, and 2 others guys with a brokrn neck!!"
Piper first began wrestling at age 15 and went on to become one of the WWE's biggest stars.
He's also starred in several Hollywood films, including the critically-acclaimed thriller They Live.
