Eva Amurri: 'My wedding dress is very me'

Eva Amurri has promised that the gown she has chosen for her upcoming wedding to fiancé Kyle Martino is very true to who she is.

The former Californication actress, who announced her engagement to Martino in December 2010, said that despite the "weird, long process" of searching for a dress, she has finally found the perfect one.

"It's not a princess dress. That's all I'm saying. It's very me. I felt like it was already hanging in my closet," Amurri explained to People.

She claimed that other dresses "didn't feel like [her]".

"I just felt like my head was stuck on a different girl's body," she said, adding that as soon as she tried on her eventual pick, "it was over".

Amurri previously described the process of planning her wedding as "wonderful", saying that she was glad her parents Susan Sarandon and Franco Amurri were not becoming too overly involved.
