Shoppers began queuing from as early as 6am this morning as Europe's largest urban shopping centre opened its doors in London.
The £1.45 billion Westfield Stratford City development, located adjacent to the Olympic park in East London, is made up of 300 shops, 70 restaurants, three hotels and also houses a 17-screen cinema.
Mayor of London Boris Johnson officially opened the centre during a ribbon-cutting ceremony, which was followed by a performance from 'Wet' star Nicole Scherzinger.
Among the political and business figures in attendance, guests at the event included Pixie Lott, Nick Grimshaw, Kelly Brook, Pixie Geldof, Colin Jackson, Jenna Randal and Andy Triggs-Hodge.
