Jennifer Aniston's mother suffers stroke

Jennifer Aniston's mother has reportedly suffered a stroke.

The former Friends star was seen visiting a Los Angeles hospital on Friday, Us Weekly reports.

Aniston was accompanied by boyfriend Justin Theroux.

"Justin has been very supportive and there with her all the way," a source told the website. "It's a very hard time for her right now."

A rep for Aniston declined to confirm the news to MSNBC, saying: "This is a private family matter."

The actress recently insisted that she is not bothered by tabloid news stories, saying that she sometimes even enjoys reading the lies written about her in the press.

In July, Aniston said that she would be prepared to be a single mother, explaining that she is fine with being a lone parent.
