Scarlett Johansson 'to contact FBI over nude photos leak'

Scarlett Johansson will reportedly contact the FBI over alleged naked photos which surfaced on the internet today.

The images, which appear to be a series of nude pictures taken by the actress herself with a mobile phone, have been published on several websites.

Sources supposedly close to the Lost In Translation star told TMZ that they believe a criminal act has taken place.

The celebrity gossip website notes that the FBI has become involved in several cases of phone hacking involving images of naked female celebrities in recent times, including High School Musical star Vanessa Hudgens.

Hudgens said earlier this year that she was deeply upset over the publication of the photographs.

She previously admitted that she was most embarrassed when talking to her lawyers and attorneys about the incident.

Fall Out Boy star Pete Wentz, whose own phone was hacked and naked photos published, advised those also affected that "it's not the worst thing on the planet that's ever gonna happen".

He added that the only way to ensure such incidents do not happen is to "never take the pictures at all".

Pop singer Rihanna admitted to feeling "humiliated" when naked pictures of her leaked on to the internet.

Explaining her decision to have the photos taken, she said: "When you're alone, and those horny moments come up, pictures can be very handy."
