Cameron Diaz, Alex Rodriguez 'split over career priorities'

Cameron Diaz and boyfriend Alex Rodriguez have reportedly split once again.

The pair have dated on-and-off for more than a year, but a source told Us Weekly that they recently separated in order to concentrate on career goals.

The insider said: "She's very busy with her career. And he's had injuries and wants to focus on his game. They're dedicated professionals."

Diaz and Rodriguez apparently parted on good terms and plan to stay in contact, with the source adding: "They're still very friendly and like each other. [Alex] has an enormous amount of respect for her."

Representatives for Diaz and Rodriguez have not commented on the report.

Diaz has suggested that getting married has never been one of her top priorities.

She will next star with Colin Firth and Alan Rickman in Gambit, which is expected to be released next year.
