Charlie Sheen: 'The Tiger Blood thing was silly'

The former Two and a Half Men actor's private life has remained in the headlines since his axe from the show for a high-profile spat with creator Chuck Lorre.
When Sheen was asked whether he is now sober on The Today Show, he replied: "Absolutely. I don't really keep track of the time. It's been a while. Things are a lot calmer. It's a lot mellower."
He explained that he was unsure why his mental state changed in recent months, which saw him in the news for his two live-in 'goddesses', his catchphrase 'winning' and his US tour 'My Violent Torpedo of Truth'.
"I really don't know what happened. It was one of those things where the planets were aligned, perfectly or imperfectly. I said some stuff and then it caught such traction globally and instantly that I couldn't really put out the fire," he said.
"From one moment to the next, I didn't know what was going to happen. It was pretty exciting."
Sheen also admitted that the mention of his mysterious drink 'Tiger Blood' was "silly".
"Looking back on it, I don't think I would trade it, but there are portions of it I would have amended a little bit," he conceded. "I don't know, the 'Tiger Blood' thing - it was so silly and people took it so seriously and I figured, 'Alright, I'll continue to give the people what they want', you know?"
Sheen's former co-star Jon Cryer recently said that he thought the actor "would die" if his life continued to spiral out of control.
