Robert Pattinson 'named as godfather to Matilda Sturridge's son'

The Twilight star was chosen for the honour earlier this month when his friend Tom Sturridge's sister Matilda gave birth to a son, WENN reports.
The actor, who is dating Twilight co-star Kristen Stewart, said in a recent interview that Stewart looked like "an alien" during scenes for the latest instalment in the supernatural franchise The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn.
Earlier this month, the couple were seen on a double date with Sturridge and his girlfriend, actress Sienna Miller. The two couples were described as looking "happy" while enjoying drinks together.
It was reported last month that Pattinson may be launching a clothing line with fellow Twilight actor Kellan Lutz.
The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 1 will open in cinemas this November, with Part 2 due in November 2012.
