Eva Longoria 'no longer speaks to Tony Parker'

Eva Longoria has said that she is not on speaking terms with ex-husband Tony Parker.

The Desperate Housewives actress, who filed for divorce from the NBA star in November 2010 , told Ellen DeGeneres that she does not talk to Parker anymore.

"No," Longoria said when asked if she and Parker still speak to each other.

She went on to say that she learned a lot about herself over the course of her difficult separation.

"You know, for me being a woman, I realised you cannot identify yourself through a man or through your marriage," Longoria said. "Or through a partner. I think it's our nature to be socially constructed that way - to just be inferior or subservient - and you don't have to be."

She concluded: "You can be yourself and really hold your own by yourself no matter what partnership you're in."

The 36-year-old is currently dating Penelope Cruz's brother Eduardo.

Longoria recently revealed that she is unsure if she will ever re-marry, saying that she is open to the idea, though she hasn't given it a lot of thought.
