Nicolas Cage 'found naked man in his home eating a Fudgesicle'

Nicolas Cage has revealed that he was once the victim of a bizarre breaking and entering.

The Ghost Rider star told reporters at the 2011 Toronto International Film Festival that he once came home to find a naked man in his house eating a Fudgesicle.

"I was living in Orange County in Los Angeles at the time. I was asleep with my wife; my 2-year-old at the time was in another room," Cage said. "And I opened my eyes and there was a naked man in my leather jacket eating a Fudgesicle in front of my bed."

He continued: "It sounds funny but it was horrifying. He ran into my bathroom, and I said, 'What are you doing in my house? Get out of my house!'"

The actor can next be seen in the thriller Trespass opposite Nicole Kidman. He recently wrapped production on the Ghost Rider sequel.

Cage is said to be playing dual roles in the forthcoming sequel, replacing the CGI version of the supernatural character seen in the original.

Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance will be released in cinemas worldwide on February 17, 2012.
