According to the New York Post, Lohan was initially turned down at the door to Marc Jacobs's party at The Gallery.
The Mean Girls actress is said to have then called Dream Hotel owner Vikram Chatwal, who arrived to walk her straight into the event.
However, Lohan was allegedly approached by security once more and told she "wasn't welcome", after which she left the event for the nearby Boom Boom Room.
Earlier this week, Lohan was accused of throwing a glass at a photographer during V magazine's Black and White Ball on Wednesday night.
A representative for the actress has denied that either of the incidents took place.
Lohan spoke out in defence of her 17-year-old sister Ali earlier this week, over claims that the model has recently undergone plastic surgery.
