Emily Deschanel: 'Pregnancy is like Alien'

Emily Deschanel has confessed that she enjoys being pregnant.

The Bones actress announced in March that she and husband David Hornsby are expecting their first child together later this year.

In an interview with Fit Pregnancy, Deschanel expressed her wonder at the biological process of feeling her baby grow.

"I really like being pregnant. I'm in awe of the process and the science. And seeing my belly move is pretty amazing; it's like in the movie Alien," she said.

Deschanel recently revealed that she has embarked on a vegan diet for the duration of her pregnancy and has sought advice from a dietician to do so safely.

Her pregnancy has been written into the Bones storyline for the upcoming season.
