'Bridesmaids' star Rebel Wilson: 'I'm not planning on gaining weight again'

Rebel Wilson has revealed that she want to continue to lose weight.

The Australian comedian, who is best known for her role as Brynn in Bridesmaids, said that she was like a "marshmallow blob" before she became the ambassador of weight loss company Jenny Craig earlier this year.

Wilson told New Idea magazine: "Now I'm starting to get back into the shape I remember. I'm already looking a lot better and feeling healthier. I'm finding my waist again! There's still a long way to go before I reach my 25kg weight loss target. But I already have a lot more energy."

The star has already dropped 10kg through healthy eating and exercise and has restricted herself to 6,400kJ a day. But she said: "It's not some awful, terrible thing where you're just eating carrots and celery."

Wilson admitted that she has been spending a lot of money clothes shopping in the US because she has lots of "new options". She said: "My chin has downsized and my jeans are feeling very loose."

Although she has had a few relapses "involving cupcakes and a make your own sundae", Wilson has insisted that she wants "to continue [her] weight loss journey".

She added: "I can't wait to get rid of my fat clothes - all those tents and elastic waistbands - because I'm not planning on ever gaining weight again."

Wilson said that her mother and three sisters have all joined her on Jenny Craig and are also losing weight.
