The actor went on to speak about his son Maddox's love of baseball.
"My son is a big baseball fan," Pitt said. "We went to a Yankees game and we were sitting next to the dugout. [Derek] Jeter offered him a cracked bat, and he said, 'It's broken!'"
Pitt's new movie Moneyball is released on September 23 in the US and on November 25 in the UK.
