A spokesperson for Britney Spears has denied rumours that she is planning to give birth to her next child in Namibia.
The star's New York-based publicist Leslie Sloane Zelnik insisted that the story is "not true" in an email to the Associated Press.
Namibia's tourism minister Leon Jooste had sparked the rumour that Spears wanted to follow in the footsteps of Angelina Jolie by giving birth in the country.
"She has shown interest to come over to Namibia," Jooste explained. "Nothing has been confirmed yet, but there is a definite possibility of that happening."
A tourism official also claimed, "Our office received an enquiry from the staff of Britney Spears."
