According to Closer, the glamour model hopes to get back together with Andre at Christmas.
"She's on a mission to sort things out with Pete and reckons they're closer than they've been for ages," a source told the magazine.
"She feels if she can just get him on his own, she can turn on the charm and make him realise it could work between them again."
The source added: "She's made a huge effort to make him feel comfortable around her again, and all he's ever wanted is a normal relationship with the kids so he's kind of going along with it.
"Now she has plans for a massive get-together with all her family there too. Pete's wary as it's a big step and could be extremely awkward if Leandro is still around.
"But she's bombarding Pete with texts asking if they can meet in secret and 'talk'. She just wants him to giver her another chance."
Price and Andre wed in 2005 and have two children together - Junior, 6, and Princess Tiaami, 4.

The pair reportedly met in July for the first time since their split to discuss a legal case. They also saw each other a week later for Junior's sports day.
The couple divorced in 2009 and Price has since married and divorced cage fighter Alex Reid.
She is now believed to be dating Argentinian model Leandro Penna, while Reid is in a relationship with former Celebrity Big Brother contestant Chantelle Houghton.

After his split from Price, Andre remained celibate for several months before a brief fling with stylist Maddy Ford.
He then began and ended a relationship with Frank Lampard's ex-girlfriend Elen Rivas.
"Jordan is already throwing herself into this little Christmas fantasy of just her and Pete and all the kids having a wonderful time together and Pete and herself making eyes at each other," a supposed friend added to the magazine. "She's desperate to make it happen."
