The actor explained that he would have no interest in replicating the plot of his new film The Change-Up, which sees his character swap brains with his ladies' man friend (Ryan Reynolds).
"I'm not really looking to swap my life with anybody right now. As an actor, I think you get to do that so much anyway so I might just take the time just being me," PA quotes him as saying.
"Not even for a day [would I switch]. That would probably scare me, I'd be frightened by that. I wouldn't know what was going on, so I'd probably call my mother."
Bateman previously told Digital Spy that the much-anticipated Arrested Development movie will be filled with celebrity cameos.
He also described The Change-Up as "shocking and different" from his previous work.
