'Roseanne' star Laurie Metcalf, husband Matt Roth to divorce

Roth filed paperwork to formally end the relationship, revealing that he and Metcalf separated more than three years ago, according E! News.
He is seeking joint physical and legal custody of the couple's children Will, Donovan and Mae.
The couple notably starred together in Roseanne, with Roth playing the abusive boyfriend of Metcalf's character Jackie.
Metcalf was previously married to Steppenwolf Theatre Company founder Jerry Perry, with whom she has one daughter.
