The Departed actor announced plans in August to join forces with brothers Donnie and Paul in order to open the hamburger establishment in the Hingham Shipyard in Massachusetts.
He later hinted at filming the opening and subsequent operation for a TV show and has since confirmed the plans in a new interview with MTV News.
"Listen, when I told the story that I wanted to do a show about a movie star and his five friends running around Hollywood, everybody said it was the dumbest idea in the world," Wahlberg explained, referring to his success with the hit HBO series Entourage.
"My brother is a five-star chef. So it's a family-run business. You're going to see us doing a reality show about building the business. This is the real deal. We'll throw it up there and see if it sticks."
Wahlberg recently said that he hopes an Entourage movie will happen, as the series finale left off in a perfect place to make the transition to the big screen.
