The former Australian Rules football player, who has been in and out of rehab for alcohol-related issues in the past year, was rumoured to have been involved in a heavy drinking spree at the Glenferrie Hotel last Sunday night.
Fevola previously insisted that he was "coughing" into the bin and the hotel's manager Mark Henderson has now confirmed to the Herald Sun that the sports star's claim was true, insisting that he was "well behaved" all evening.
Henderson said: "None of my staff members within the hotel saw any evidence of this [vomit] or had to clean up any vomit within the area in question. We would welcome them all back to the Glenferrie Hotel at any time."
Fevola was sacked by the Brisbane Lions team shortly after he admitted to a gambling addiction. His wife Alex left him around the same time.
He has since launched a radio career, joining the Grubby and Dee Dee breakfast show on Gold FM on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
Fevola said on starting the job: "I am really looking forward to it. I need something to get me out of bed early in the morning. I've done a fair bit of radio in my time and I've got a good head for radio, so I'm quite comfortable."
