Kimberley Walsh becomes 'Shrek's Princess Fiona - Picture

Kimberley Walsh makes her debut as Princess Fiona in a new Shrek: The Musical picture.
The Girls Aloud star was revealed as Amanda Holden's replacement when the Britain's Got Talent judge announced her pregnancy last month. Walsh steps into the role two months earlier than originally planned.
The 29-year-old will make her first appearance in the musical, which stars Nigel Lindsay as Shrek, on October 5. Holden bows out two days earlier on Monday, October 3.
Walsh previously made a cameo appearance as Eponine in Les Misérables, as part of 2008 ITV2 series The Passions of Girls Aloud.
Shrek: The Musical, which also stars Richard Blackwood as Donkey and Nigel Harman as Lord Farquaad, has played to more than 225,000 fans since it began previews at the Theatre Royal, Drury Lane in May.
