Sean Kingston fined over jet ski crash

Sean Kingston has been fined $180 for "careless operation" of the jet ski that he crashed into a bridge in May.

The 'Beautiful Girls' singer and a female companion both suffered severe injuries when Kingston lost control of his jet ski.

Kingston spent almost three weeks in a Miami hospital following the crash, and later admitted that he feels "blessed" to be alive.

Florida officials recently concluded their investigation into the matter and chose to cite Kingston for "careless operation in an accident", according to a police report obtained by TMZ.

Police claim that the crash was likely caused when Kingston mistakenly released the jet ski's throttle and turned the steering wheel at the same time.

Kingston's collision was apparently so severe that it left a dent in the cement bridge that he crashed into.

The 21-year-old previously said that he has become a better person since the crash.
