Lady GaGa to meet with President Barack Obama over teen's suicide

Lady GaGa has announced plans to meet with President Barack Obama.
The 'You and I' singer took to Twitter to express her outrage over the death of one of her 14-year-old fans, who took his life after being bullied for his sexuality.
"The past days I've spent reflecting, crying, and yelling," GaGa wrote on Twitter. "I have so much anger. It is hard to feel love when cruelty takes someone's life."
She continued: "Jamey Rodemeyer, 14 yrs old, took his life because of bullying. Bullying must become be illegal. It is a hate crime."
She went on to say that she will meet with President Obama in an attempt to put an end to bullying.
"I am meeting with our President. I will not stop fighting. This must end. Our generation has the power to end it," she said.
GaGa recently celebrated the repeal of the US military's Don't Ask, Don't Tell policy, which had prevented gays and lesbians from serving openly.
The singer is rumoured to be dating Vampire Diaries' Taylor Kinney. The actor starred as a scientist in GaGa's 'You and I' video.
