Kirstie Alley: 'I don't want sex without being in love'

Kirstie Alley has insisted that she is not interested in having casual sex.

The Manzanis actress confessed that while it's easy to find sexual partners, she is only interested in pursuing relationships with long-term potential.

"The easiest thing on this planet is to [find sex], but I don't see the merit in that. What I'm looking for is someone who loves me deeply and is madly in love with me, for me," Alley explained to People.

"Certainly. For me, it's all about love. I wasn't looking for the right thing before… I want someone who has my back. And if I'm being attacked, they fricking attack back. Now, that's bravery."

The 60-year-old has two grown children, William True and Lillie Price, and has been divorced twice after unsuccessful marriages to Bob Alley and Parker Stevenson.

Alley recently revealed that she finally feels "back in [her] element" after her weight loss passed the 100lb mark.

Earlier this week, she threatened legal action over allegations that her new slim figure is the result of bulimia and plastic surgery.
