The former Alias star, who already has two daughters with husband Ben Affleck, revealed that she would enjoy having three young girls in the house.
"Three girls is a great way to grow up," Garner said on a pretaped edition of The Ellen DeGeneres Show, reports People. "I'm one of three girls and my little sister is awesome."
Despite her desire to have another daughter, Garner admitted that it would be nice for her husband to have a son.
"It would be so weird to have a boy," she explained, but went on to say that it could be "cool and different".
Affleck and Garner announced their pregnancy in August, despite initially denying reports back in May.
The couple's third child is expected in early 2012.
