Justin Bieber rents out cinema for Selena Gomez 'Titanic' viewing

Justin Bieber rented the Staples Centre movie theater in Los Angeles for a private viewing of Titanic, it has been reported.

On Friday, the 'Baby' singer hired out the entire cinema for a date with girlfriend Selena Gomez, according to TMZ.

"Romance isn't dead," Bieber tweeted of the outing. "Treat your lady right fellas."

An insider told the website that Bieber was inspired by the Adam Sandler film Mr Deeds, in which Sandler's character treats his love interest to a date at Madison Square Garden in New York.

The evening reportedly started out with Bieber taking Gomez to see Demi Lovato in concert at the Nokia Theater before surprising her with the movie next door at the Staples Centre.

In addition, the Staples Centre's management is said to have permitted Bieber to use the arena for free, since the singer has sold out the hall three times in the past.

Earlier this month, Bieber recorded material with Boyz II Men, declaring that he feels "honoured and blessed" to have worked with the R&B supergroup.

The material will appear on the 17-year-old's forthcoming Christmas album.
