The Ringer star revealed that she and husband Freddie Prince Jr have taught their child Charlotte Grace to eat healthily.
"We've already taught her to love healthy food," Gellar told Health Magazine. "We took her to sushi on Saturday night and everybody couldn't believe what she inhaled. I think it's important at a young age to enjoy different tastes."
The actress went on to say that helping her daughter learn to eat healthily has taught her to be more nutritious as well.
"We make this green juice for her. It's basically everything but the kitchen sink. We go to the farmers' market and buy everything and just put it in the juicer: kale, Swiss chard, carrots, celery," Gellar said. "And now we've all started drinking it and we've all been healthier."
The actress admitted that she is often unhappy with her figure, revealing that she suffers from body dysmorphic disorder.
Earlier this month, Gellar insisted that the best acting roles for women can be found on television, citing her former part on Buffy the Vampire Slayer as an example of such a part.
