Peter Andre: 'Katie Price knows real reason for marriage failure'

Peter Andre has hit back at Katie Price's claim that their marriage could have survived if they had not been followed by TV cameras.

Price recently described her four-year marriage to Andre as a "complete joke", saying that it had been "all about the cameras and the deals and the showbiz".

"It would have lasted for years if we were given time to put the cameras down and actually enjoy being married," she said.

However, responding to the comments in his New magazine column, Andre said that his ex-wife's suggestions were untrue.

"I was shown a newspaper interview my ex-wife did where she said that if it hadn't been for the cameras filming us and a certain person, then our marriage would have lasted much longer," he wrote. "I nearly choked on my breakfast!

"Kate knows the real reason why our marriage didn't last and she knows it has nothing to do with the TV cameras being there, or anything to do with my management."

Alex Reid also dismissed Price's comments about their 11-month marriage, calling for her to "move on please".
