The trial is currently underway, with the prosecution planning to call This Is It director Kenny Ortega as the first witness.
Sources close to the Jackson family have claimed that Prince is "nervous" about possibly taking the stand, but will testify out of respect for his father's legacy if prosecutors ask.
Prince's grandmother Katherine will ask Judge Michael Pastor to clear the courtroom if the boy does testify, reports TMZ.
Legal experts told the website that Judge Pastor will almost surely ban cameras from filming Prince, but likely won't allow the courtroom to be cleared.
The 14-year-old Prince apparently witnessed Michael's final moments on June 25, 2009 after being called into the room to assist Dr Murray.
A Jackson family spokesperson hasn't commented on if Prince will take the stand.
Prince recently made his first solo public appearance to attend a charity auction in Berlin.
