The winning house from The Block is currently being advertised as a rental property.

The three bedroom, two bathroom Richmond home in Melbourne, which was transformed from a shack into a $855,000 (£548,000) inner-city property by champion couple Polly Porter and Waz Jones, has reportedly attracted a few people hoping to rent it.

According to the Herald Sun, the letting agents hope to rent the fully-furnished home for $995 (£631) per week.

Katrina Chambers and Ami Godde's property, which failed to make them any money when it sold for $860,000 (£550,000) after the show, is currently listed at $950 (£602) a week. Josh Densten and Jenna Whitehead's 37 Cameron Street property, which sold for $1 million (£634,000) after auction, is currently being rented for $1,250 (£793) a week.

After Jones and Porter's house was the only one to make a profit at auction, the couple said that the win was "bittersweet" because the situation "sucked" for their friends.

The couple also revealed that the show had brought them closer because there were "no more barriers" or "walls" between them.

"We know we can conquer anything now," Porter said.
