Anthony Goodrich claimed that the Die Hard star pushed a camera into his face whilst entering Koi, causing damage to his nose and teeth.
Willis's lawyer however claimed that the star had merely raised his hand in front of his face in order to shield himself from the camera flashes.
According to BBC News Online, the actor is seeking at least $1 million (roughly £540,000) compensation for defamation of character and damaging his "reputation and standing in the community".
Whilst Willis's lawyer does not deny that contact was made, he claims that it was "minimal and inadvertent".
