Shane Jacobson has become a father for the third time.

The Australian comedian, who is best known as the star of Kenny and the presenter of Top Gear Australia, welcomed son Wil Danger with partner Felicity Hunter late last week.

Jacobson told the Herald Sun: "Felicity is already talking about having another one, God help me. Actually I think God already has helped me enough, I have two healthy boys and a beautiful healthy daughter. For anyone who is interested, the view from cloud nine is great."

He added on his Twitter page: "Myself and Felicity are very proud to announce our newest family member Wil Danger Jacobson.... And yes Danger is his middle name. He was born last night at 11.45pm weighing in at 3.5kg, both Fliss and Wil are doing great."

This week, he wrote on the microblogging website: "Sleep depravation is a form of torture... does this mean our newborn son hates us... yep... ok that's what I thought (sic)."

Top Gear Australia was recently axed due to poor audience ratings. Jacobson's co-star Steve Pizzata said after the announcement: "It's true - as of next week, TGA will be on at the special time of not at all. Sorry to the open-minded people that gave it a go and enjoyed [it]!"

Earlier this year, Jacobson complained that the show faced a lot of criticism because it was constantly in the shadow of the UK version, adding that they needed to find a "balance".
