The Star accused the actress of keeping her pregnancy from the producers of her pending movies, a story that Witherspoon rejects.

Her legal action, against the mag's parent company American Media, denies that she is pregnant, and cites invasion of privacy as the reason for the charges. She also claims the magazine damaged her professional reputation.
