George Clooney: 'Elisabetta Canalis hasn't sent me angry texts'

Clooney, who split from Canalis in June, denied reports that the Italian TV presenter has been harassing him with angry text messages.
"[The report] was completely fabricated in order to sell magazines," the actor said in a statement to Access Hollywood. "I never comment on my personal life unless it affects others… and this lie affects others."
Meanwhile, Canalis thanked Clooney for standing up for her.
"I think he was very nice, the fact that he stood up for me," Canalis said.
"We are okay, we are okay, really," she continued. "That's why he was so nice. I have to thank him… in life, things end, you move on."
Clooney is currently dating former WWE star Stacy Keibler.
Clooney's new film The Ides of March opens on October 7 in the US and on October 28 in the UK.
