Kerry Katona 'dating man she met online'

Kerry Katona reportedly went on a date with a man she met online on Friday night.

The Celebrity Big Brother star met Stuart Nuttall on Match.com and picked him up at Warrington rail station before enjoying drinks at the Orford Hotel.

According to The People, Katona told friends: "I'm sick of being single. I'm not going to meet a man sitting in my bedroom so why shouldn't I date online?"

However, a source warned: "Stuart seemed lovely but Kerry could have been picking up anyone. Internet dating is all the rage but Kerry needs to stick to the rules. She should have met him, particularly on date one, in a public place not in her car.

"It's just so sad. She is just so desperate to find love and will do anything, even if that means risking her safety, to find it. Her friends and family are worried because she's so vulnerable and open to falling for yet another unsuitable man who could bring her life crashing round her ears."

The friend added that Katona has only just cleared the debts she ran up while married to Mark Croft but has since returned to her "reckless" ways.

She was previously rumoured to have found love online last year, after making a dating profile under a false name.

Katona recently insisted that she is not in a relationship with fellow Celebrity Big Brother housemate Lucien Laviscount.
