James Corden poses as Adele: Picture

James Corden transformed himself into Adele for a new photoshoot, revealing that the singer "cracked up" when she saw the pictures.

The comedian, who most recently made his second appearance in Doctor Who alongside Matt Smith, recreated the chart-topper's 21 album cover, as well as posing as her during a performance for Heat magazine.



"I sent Adele the pictures from this shoot. She cracked up. She thought they were great. To become her, if only for a moment, was an honour," Corden said.

"I love Adele so much. I find what she's achieved and keeps achieving an inspiration to any young singer-songwriter out there. I met her on her first-ever TV performance on T4. You could just tell then how huge she was going to be.

"She's exceptional. It makes me excited about presenting the Brits next year, knowing that the biggest-selling female artist in the world is going to be there. And she's part of our little island. She's just taken over the world."

Corden recently released his autobiography May I Have Your Attention, Please?. The pictures appear in the new issue of Heat magazine, out now.
