Tone Lōc pleads no contest to weapons, domestic violence charges

The rapper was arrested in June after an alleged physical altercation with the mother of his children.
He appeared in a Burbank, CA court to enter a no contest plea to possession of an assault weapon and corporal injury to a spouse, reports The AP.
The presiding judge sentenced Tone Lōc to one day in jail and three years of probation.
He will also be required to attend 52 weeks of anger management courses and 30 days of community service.
Tone Lōc notched up several hits in the early 1990s, such as the US top five singles 'Funk Cold Medina' and 'Wild Thing'.
The musician has also acted in the films Ace Ventura: Pet Detective and Heat.
