The 'Live Your Life' rapper was granted an early release from an 11-month jail sentence in August stemming from drugs charges but was forced to complete his time in an Atlanta halfway house, from which he was released late last month.
Talking to MTV News, TI revealed that he feels refreshed from the experience and is excited at what the future holds.
"I feel phenomenal. But I've always been the kind of guy - I never really get a chance to soak up the feeling of the moment because even as we speak, I'm planning for the next moment," he explained.
"I'm looking to the future and trying to just move forward, just moving forward. I refuse to remain stagnant."
TI recently announced that he has returned to the studio to begin recording new tracks since his halfway house release.
