Personal photographs of Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have been stolen from the couple.

The pictures are from a range of the family's activities, including a baby shower for daughter Shiloh in Namibia.

Lavely & Singer, the couple's law firm, released a statement saying that "a digital memory card, containing a number of personal copyright protected photographs" of the family had been stolen from them and offered up for sale.

The statement announced that anyone who publishes the photos "will be liable for substantial compensatory damages, punitive damages and injunctive relief".
