Erin McNaught still "really close" to ex-boyfriend Nathan Joliffe

Erin McNaught has revealed that she still "adores" Nathan Joliffe.

The Australian model and former Neighbours actress, who recently split from model and Amazing Race winner Joliffe, said that their conflicting schedules were to blame for the end of their two-year relationship.

McNaught told the Herald Sun: "I adore Nathan. We are still really close, but it was a matter of our lives conflicting. Our lives were slowly heading in different directions. So we decided to call it quits rather than go through that strain."

The former Miss Australia said that she is now putting all her energy into launching a shoe line for Zu and designing bikinis. She recently did a fashion shoot for Mambo and is also scheduled to appear at the Melbourne Fashion Forward event later this month, where she will present an award celebrating the most 'Fashionable Sustainable Design'.

Joliffe reportedly moved out of the couple's Bondi apartment last week and is now spending some time in Melbourne.

The former Miss Universe Australia used to date Roosters captain Braith Anasta, but they split shortly before she met Joliffe. Anasta is now engaged to ex-Home and Away actress Jodi Gordon.
