Chloe Lattanzi has revealed that she never wanted to be famous.

The 25-year-old Australian singer - who is the daughter of Grease actress Olivia Newton-John - said that she always craved privacy when she was young but could not be a "normal" child because of her mother's fame.

Lattanzi told OK! magazine: "I felt I had no privacy. I wanted to be a normal young kid and fame was not something I asked for - I was born into it. I never craved attention. I was paid attention to since I was born. I had no choice.

"Nothing was private for me and this still p*sses me off. I'm just trying to have my own identity, which I think is perfectly normal. I'm sure many would do the same to try to carve out their own identity."

Lattanzi continued: "All kids cause their parents angst when growing up, it's just that their relationships and problems aren't splashed all over the magazine for the world to see and judge. I never wanted that and it angers me to this day."

Lattanzi, who previously described having an eating disorder as "the darkest time" in her life, has blamed Newton-John for her problems and even claimed that she felt "abandoned" as a child.

The musician was recently believed to have cancelled her wedding to James Driskill after discovering that he was already married, but has since insisted that the engagement is "so on" and that she did not feel "deceived" by him keeping the secret from her.
