'Hart of Dixie' star Rachel Bilson launching shoe shopping website

Rachel Bilson is launching her own shoe-shopping website called ShoeMint for the holiday season.

The Hart of Dixie actress is pairing with her stylist Nicole Chavez and internet commerce company BeachMint to create her own signature brands of footwear.

ShoeMint, which opens in November, will personalise shoe selections for customers based on their unique specifications.

Bilson said that she had always hoped to share her love of shoes with her fans, telling WWD: "I loved the idea of designing really cute shoes that are affordable and accessible. The whole idea behind the BeachMint brand makes the online shopping experience so personal."

Jessica Simpson, Kate Bosworth, Mary Kate Olsen and Ashley Olsen have all worked with BeachMint to create jewellery and fashion ranges.

Bilson recently claimed that she feels no pressure starring in the new show Hart of Dixie because the series is a "group effort".

Hart of Dixie continues with new episode 'Gumbo & Glory' on Monday at 9/8c on The CW.
