The court heard a previously unreleased interview with Murray conducted by Los Angeles Police officers two days after the singer's death in July 2009.
In the footage, Murray explained how he became Jackson's physician after treating a "family flu illness" in 2006 and was later asked to join his team for the doomed 'This Is It' concerts in London.
Murray also detailed his treatment of Jackson in the 50-year-old's final moments and admitted to administering the anaesthetic propofol, which contributed to the star's death.
Murray's defence team yesterday accused a Los Angeles coroner of making "substantial mistakes" while investigating Jackson's death, taking particular exception to inconsistencies in the notes regarding the presence of propofol.

On Wednesday, jurors heard more haunting audio of Jackson slurring his words during a conversation with Murray in the weeks before his passing.
The trial is scheduled to continue for another five weeks and Murray could face up to four years in prison if found guilty.
