The 18-year-old was questioned over claims she impersonated the model and withdrew £14,000 from one of her bank accounts using cloned cards.
Police had been inspecting CCTV footage of a woman wearing a long blonde wig and sunglasses attempting to withdraw cash at a Lincolnshire branch of HSBC.
A police source told The Mirror: "We're not quite sure how she got away with it. She doesn't look like Katie."
Speaking of the incident earlier this week, Price said: "It is just terrifying that this could have been allowed to happen. It's really horrible. All I know is that police have footage of these people pretending to be me."
HSBC's fraud department is also investigating the matter and has refunded the missing money.
Imogen Thomas recently accused Price of stealing Danny Cipriani from her as revenge for a past feud.
